Po Nagar Cham Tower - There are 4 towers of the Cham Towers, construction of these towers began in 8th century and was only completed in the 12th century. One tower is dedicated to the Shiva Hindu god, another dedicated to Ganesha whose human body is atached to an elephant head. Vung Tau is a city in southern Vietnam. Its population in 2005 was 240,000. The city area is 140 km² (54 square miles) including 13 urban wards and one village. It is the capital of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, and is the petroleum center in Vietnam. The city is located in the south of Vietnam, and is situated at the tip of a small peninsula. It is currently the nearest sea side resort for the city dewellers of Saigon to head off to relax in the weekend.
