Introduction -
Tay Ninh City is approximately 90 km to the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City (Formerly Saigon), Vietnam's largest city. The city is most famous for being the home of the Cao Dai religion, an indigenous Vietnamese faith that includes the teachings of the major world religions. The Cao Dai religion's Holy See, built between 1933 and 1955, is located around 5 km to the east of Tay Ninh's town centre.
Program Schedule
Day 1 HCM CITY
Arr. Ho Chi Minh City. Greeting and transfer to the Hotel. Free & Easy for the night, overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2 HCM CITY - CUCHI - TAY NINH (B, L, D)
ABF in hotel,. Proceed to Tay Ninh, center of the Cao-Dai religion found in 1926 in Vietnam, a religion with a combination of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. Catch their Daily Noon Prayer Session and admire the spectacular Temple Structure of the Cao Dai Religion. After lunch. Proceed to Cu Chi village - Cuchi tunnel, tour to find out the historical tunnel with 200km underground network tunnels which the Liberation Army fought against the Americans in Vietnam War, the tunnels are 60-70cm wide and 80-90cm high but many has been re constructed for easy access to tourists. The tunnels are also approxmately 3-4metres deep and there is also a live firing range where toursits are able to buy live bullets (own expense) for various types of guns, handguns, machine guns and rifles used during the days of war. Back to HCM City , Dinner, Free and Easy for the Evening.
Day 3 HCM - CITY TOUR (B,L,D)
Breafast in Hotel, visit Chinatown and Tien Hou Temple –o ne of the oldest Vietnamese-Chinese clan run temple in Saigon. Visit the War Museum - historic pictures and warfare machines are displayed in this museum as well as pictures of individuals accounting their stories during the duration of war. There are also numerous snapshots by the American War reporters during the whole outcome of war and their opinions and articles as well, proceed to Lunch, and then continue city tour – Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office etc. Shopping at Benh Thanh Market if time allows. Dinner on River Cruise with Live Band Performance, Back to Hotel. The rest of evening is free for your own lesiure.
Day 4 DEPARTURE (B)
ABF in hotel. Free till time for check out and transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
