Introduction - Sapa (Westernized spelling) is a frontier town and district in the Lao Cai province in northwest Vietnam. It is one of the main market towns in the area, where there lived many local trades such as Hmong, Dao and Tay. Day 1 HANOI - SAPA Leave Hanoi at 9pm by the overnight train.Overnight in the train in the first class cabin with beds. Day 2 Trekking Sapa - Sin Chai (B,L,D)
 Dao Ethnic Leave Sapa by jeep after breakfast and head down a track to Su Pan. Walk on through splendid mountain scenery of terraced rice fields and colourfully-dressed tribal farmers till reaching a family house at a Tay minority village called Than Phu. After lunch at Than Phu trek up to an altitude of over 1,000m before arriving at the isolated and seldom-visited village of Sin Chai. The trek cook will prepare a delicious evening meal before settling down for the night in a local house or tent. Overnight at Sin Chai.
Day 3 Sin Chai (B,L,D)
 Morning Market Day 4 Sin Chai - Sapa (B,L,D) Say goodbye to the friendly locals and leave Sin Chai for the trek back to Sapa after breakfast, and perhaps, a swim in the river at Than Phu. Lunch is prepared at a local house in Ban Ho village, then continue the trek to Su Pan where the jeeps are waiting to drive back to Sapa. Overnight in hotel in Sapa. Day 5 Sapa - Hanoi (B,L) Drive back to Lao Cai to take the day train to Hanoi
