Introduction - Kuala Lumpur is the capital and the largest city of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is one of the three Malaysian Federal Territories. It is an enclave within the state of Selangor, on the central west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Malaysians commonly refer to the city as KL. Kuala Lumpur is the seat of the Parliament of Malaysia, making it the country's legislative capital. The city was once home to the executive and judicial branches of the federal government, but they have since moved to Putrajaya for the most part. Some sections of the judiciary remain in the capital. Program Schedule - Day 1 KUALA LUMPUR (D) Pick up at Airport. Proceed directly to Putrajaja city tour - the new Government administration centre of Malaysia. Dinner at local Chinese restaurant. Check in hotel. Day 2 KUALA LUMPUR(B,L,D) Breakfast at hotel. Photo stop at KL CC Twins Tower - With a height of 1,453 feet, one of the world's tallest buildings rise above the skyline of Kuala Lumpur, they have become the symbols for the astounding growth that has taken place in Malaysia over the last two decades. Formerly Asia's tallest skyscraper before it was taken over by the Taiwan's newest skyscraper. Visit National Mosque, Mederka Square, Tian Hau temple, Kings Palace, Pewter Factory, Batik Factory, Day 3 KUALA LUMPUR-GENTING (B,L,D) Breakfast in hotel. Check out, proceed to Genting Highlands, on way visit Batu cave - this massive limestone outcrop and its cavernous interior is home to Hindu deities and one will need to climb its 272 steps to fully appreciate the caves. On this tour you will also witness the art of fine pewter crafting, batik designing & pass a typical Malay house, Jewelry shop, Duty free Swiss shop. Proceed to Genting by cable car. Day 4 GENTING - MALACCA (B,L,D) Breakfast at hotel. Check out and proceed to Malacca If the ultra-modern architecture and forward-looking citizens of Kuala Lumpur symbolize Malaysia's hopes for the future, then the quiet, seaside city of Malacca, about 150 kilometers to the south, is the guardian charged with the reflective task of preserving its past. Five hundred years ago, an extraordinary empire rose and fell here, its power and dreams suddenly caught off-gaurd by the dawn of the Colonial Era. Visit: Bukit China, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple (the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia), Dutch Square. Dinner at local Restaurant, check in hotel. Day 5 MALACCA - SINGAPORE (B,L,D) Breakfast at hotel, check out and proceed to Singapore via Wood Land check point. Check in hotel. . Sentosa tour by one way cable car ride - Singapore's most popular theme island that is visited regularly by both local and foreigners daily, visti the man made water theme park - Underwater world, Butterfly Park, Wax Museum. Dinner followed by Musical Fountain show, back to hotel. Day 6 JURONG BIRD (B,L) Breakfast at hotel. City tour with Merlion Park, Singapore River - was the hothouse for trading. When Raffles signed the agreement securing the auspicious title of free port for Singapore, this instantly opened the floodgates of immigrants from neighbouring countries. Within six months, a familiar scene in this location was sun-tanned coolies and swaylos (water-hands) balancing heavy gunny-sacks of rice on their shoulders, with springy gangplanks under their feet, loading and unloading a bewildering plethora of produce.
